November 5, 2010 – Roycroft Inn, East Aurora, NY
The WNY-O ACRL 2010 Fall Conference will continue to explore topics on Scholarly Communication that began in the Spring Conference in May. Presentation topics can include the development of Scholarly Communication policies and programs for copyright, open access publishing, and institutional repositories in academic libraries.
We invite anyone who would like to speak on an aspect of this theme to submit a proposal to Kevin Manuel, the Programs Chair for the event. Presentations are to be 45 minutes followed by 15 minutes for questions. The fall and spring WNY-O ACRL Conferences are comfortable events of about 60 to 80 people that provide a unique opportunity to discuss topics with an audience representing a variety of academic institutions.
We are also accepting proposals for poster-presentations on any aspect of academic librarianship.
Please submit any proposals to firstname.lastname@example.org by August 25, 2010.
The conference is a full-day event and will be held at the Roycroft Inn http://www.roycroftinn.com, East Aurora, New York on Friday, November 5, 2010.
