Freezing Water Damaged Books to Save Them

[via Lifehacker]

Lifehacker posts what tehy call a “Macgyver Tip” once in a while dedicated to Do It Yourself solutions. I thought this was an interesting article for saving water damaged books. Sounds like a simple solution if you need to save wet books, and it mentions that there are commercial options for the water damage to large collections. Worth a look for archivist and preservationists out there, or maybe this was a trick of the trade you already knew about!
