CFS – Virtual Reference in New York State Conference
Posted by Ken Fujiuchi on May 28, 2009
Call for Speakers/Presenters
Conference – Virtual Reference in New York State (title may change)
Ithaca, New York
September 25th
The Western New York Library Resources Council is hosting a conference for New York State librarians dealing with all forms of virtual reference. This can include: chat, text messaging, instant messaging, skype, etc, among others. By focusing on what libraries in our own state are doing, we hope to encourage communication and collaboration. It is being held in the Holiday Inn in Ithaca, which is a beautiful location particularly in the Fall, and also located within walking distance of the Ithaca Commons, which has great shopping and restaurants.
We are currently looking for New York State librarians to speak/present at the conference. If you are interested, please submit a short description of your presentation to me at jmckewan@wnylrc.org
Deadline for descriptions/proposals is June 12th.
