Nylink Offices, Albany
10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Greenstone is free, open source software that can take all those scanned images you have sitting on a hard drive and serve them up on the web.  Using a combination of watching how to use the software followed by hands-on exercises, this workshop will provide you with some dedicated time to sit down and learn what Greenstone is and what Greenstone can do.
After taking this class you will be able to:

  • Install a Greenstone Library
  • Use the Greenstone Librarian Interface
  • Add descriptive information to digital files
  • Use collection configuration files
